My Case Privacy Policy

Last updated July 11, 2026. My Case is a private case-prep tool for verified school-email users. This page explains what information the site uses and how it is handled.

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your email address, password hash, verification status, and login session data. If you choose to use Google or LinkedIn sign-in, we receive the verified email address and basic profile information provided by that provider, such as name and profile photo.

Profile And Case Activity

If you use My Case Log, we store the profile fields and private notes you enter. We also record which cases you view, open, or download so your personal case history can be shown back to you. These notes and activity records are private to your account.

How We Use Information

We use this information to authenticate users, enforce school-email access rules, provide search and case-viewing features, maintain your personal case log, prevent abuse, and operate the service. We do not sell personal information.

Third-Party Services

My Case may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, file storage, analytics, and OAuth sign-in. Google or LinkedIn sign-in is optional; those providers process your login according to their own privacy policies.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account from the mobile app settings or by contacting the site owner. Deleting your account removes your user record and related account-owned data such as sessions, votes, access history, profile fields, and personal case-progress notes.

Contact

For privacy questions or account-deletion help, contact the site owner through the email address used to administer My Case.
